Finca HuAldo
Roots that innovate in Toledo since 1986
Our origin is the land—the soil that flows and bears fruit along the banks of the Tagus River. We tend it with exceptional care to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, creating gourmet products that carry the authenticity of our legacy, a constant dedication to innovation, and a deep respect for the environment.
History and Tradition: A Legacy in Evolution
Finca Hualdo is located in the historic setting of El Carpio de Tajo, in Toledo. This area, renowned for its Visigothic heritage, forms a unique ecosystem with native biodiversity that makes the landscape truly one of a kind.
The history of De Hualdo is a story of vision, dedication, and profound respect for the land. When Francisco Riberas acquired the first hectares of the estate on the banks of the Tagus in 1984, Finca Hualdo became a symbol of agricultural evolution and sustainable excellence. The existing olive groves marked the first step on a path that would not simply preserve heritage, but reimagine it for the future.
Over time, De Hualdo has strategically diversified, focusing on products that harmonize with the estate's productive ecosystem. This approach has guided every decision, allowing the estate to develop a pioneering agricultural model—one unique in its ability to fuse legacy and technology with respect for the environment.

Purpose and Innovation: Transforming Agriculture
De Hualdo does not simply tell a story—it brings one to life. Our purpose is to transform agriculture by merging creativity, heritage, and advanced technology. The estate redefines the balanced use of resources, combining traditional techniques with cutting-edge innovation to create exceptional gourmet products.
This approach is evident in initiatives such as the promotion of natural pollinators and the conservation of iconic species including the Spanish Imperial Eagle and the Iberian Lynx. Collaborations with leading universities and research centers allow us to refine and optimize practices such as monitored irrigation, fertigation, and hedgerow cultivation—contributing to resource efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Through these efforts, De Hualdo demonstrates that agriculture can be not only productive, but a source of wealth in all its forms: economic, cultural, sensory, and in terms of well-being.
This model seeks not only to offer products of the highest quality, but also to inspire consumers and producers alike to embrace agriculture that respects and enhances the natural world.
Regenerative Model: Circularity and Living Technology
At De Hualdo, sustainability drives a unique regenerative model. The estate integrates livestock, agriculture, and renewable energies to maximize resources and minimize environmental impact. Our sheep, fed with crops grown on the estate, enrich the soil naturally, while the by-products of the oil mill are reused as fertilizers—closing a balanced production cycle.
Three solar installations generate 30% of the energy needed to operate advanced machinery and monitoring systems, reflecting a commitment to self-sufficiency. This model not only preserves biodiversity but also protects the habitat of iconic and endangered species, pointing toward a future in which agriculture and environmental regeneration go hand in hand.
De Hualdo Today: Identity, Philosophy, and Way of Life

Natural Heritage: A Sanctuary of History and Life
At Finca Hualdo, culture and biodiversity coexist in harmony, creating a unique sanctuary where nature, agriculture, and progress come together to preserve the past and shape a thriving future.
El Carpio de Tajo has been home to civilizations since ancient times, most notably for its Visigothic heritage. De Hualdo pays tribute to this legacy by breathing new life into the fruits of its land—creating products that celebrate authenticity and bring the cultural and natural richness of Toledo to the world.
At Finca Hualdo, we also safeguard an immense natural heritage, protecting biodiversity and reinforcing our commitment to the environment. This distinctive landscape—combining Mediterranean scrubland, riverside groves, and intercropping—has become a refuge for iconic and endangered species such as the Spanish Imperial Eagle and the Iberian Lynx, standing as a symbol of hope for conservation.
